We have been hard at work developing a menu so you can take advantage of the summer season. We wanted to create healthier choices and also get kids excited about food.
Across all our restaurants we’ve introduced a new summer menu which includes a brand new Leggera Supper Food Salad (even suitable for anyone who is on the 5:2 diet!), Gluten Free options (yes, we now have GF pizza!) and a sparkly new Kids menu.
Drop by your local PizzaExpress to try it. Actually, with summer here, why not go for a day out and visit a PizzaExpress in a new town!
How is that January diet going? We know how difficult it can be when trying to stick to healthy eating any time of year.
We have been working tirelessly in our kitchens developing our 500 calorie Leggera range over the years across all our restaurants that we thought why don’t we give lighter option when fans buy pizzas in supermarkets without compromising on taste?
We can now reveal our Lighter range of supermarket pizzas with Giardiniera Light and Pollo Piccante Light. They each contain fewer than 500 calories and have 40% less fat than other PizzaExpress pizzas.
Both pizzas will be available at selected Tesco and Waitrose stores.

We have introduced the tagline ‘Pizzas Made Fresh From The Moment You Order’ on the marble tables and website. We haven’t changed the way we do things at PizzaExpress – we have, and always will make our pizzas fresh from that moment you come into our restaurant, look at our menu (or not look, depending on how much you are set in your ways) and order.
That’s right, the same authentic style. Just the way you expect.
We love creating our classics; American Hot, Sloppy Giueseppe and Padana, and your new favourites; Calabrese, Rustichella and Gorgonzola & Pancetta Leggera.
Just drop by and tell us how you like yours – extra jalapeno peppers on your La Reine? Or a runny egg on your Fiorentina? Don’t worry, we won’t judge you – in fact, we love to see how you like to have your favourite.

Isn’t it funny, we get several days of sunshine and we (kind of) forget about the lousy weather we have been experiencing this summer. Well, we have anyway.
We’ve even gone so far as to launch our new Leggera swimsuit. That’s right, our pizzas that are under 500 calories with the hole in the middle now have their very own swimsuit – modelled below by Jodie Kidd.
To celebrate this turn of weather – we have decided to give away some limited edition Leggera swimsuits to our fans.
The PizzaExpress Leggera swimsuit will be sold exclusively online at Debenhams from August.

With the start of Spring here, we are starting to get excited about the prospect of some sunshine in our lives.
We also love this time of year because everyone talks about longer days and more importantly – beach holidays.
Who out there cannot wait to head to the water? Same here. We have gone so far to design a swimsuit, modelled here by one of our fans Jodie Kidd.
As you can see the swimsuit has a hole in the middle, just like our Leggera pizzas.

Lawrence Dallaglio craves the Meatball Bolognese on a thin and crispy Romana base, whilst Jodie Kidd loves the melt-in-the-mouth bite of the Padana on our new Leggera base. Juicy tomatoes with pesto on the Pomodoro Pesto, served on the authentic Romana base, is what Sophie Ellis Bextor adores and Patrick Kielty often drops by Regent for a classic favourite, the fiery American Hot.
How many times have you avoided eating out because you have been watching your weight and the lighter options just didn’t cut it?
We feel for you and we have listened. So much so that today we bring to you our BRAND NEW Leggera range.
You can now eat (without guilt) our famous American Hot, Padana, Pomodoro Pesto, Gustosa, American and Pollo Ad Astra pizzas for just 500 calories.
And how have we exactly done this? The new style Leggera are baked on our thinner Romana base, a crisp salad in the centre and topped with shaved ricotta salata cheese and a balsamic dressing. Now you can enjoy usually off-limits ingredients such as pepperoni and goats cheese – whilst still remaining at 500 calories.
